No.4 of Fine Dining  in Lisbon

I tried the barnacles for the first time last night 😋 It was a little more work than I expected but the taste was good. Apparently someone said it&rsquo;s the best seafood restaurant in Lisbon and we had to wait more than an hour to get a table. Although there is nothing special on the menu, the seafood is very fresh, which makes all of the dishes delicious. The famous dessert is steak sandwich but we couldn&rsquo;t eat anymore 😅

The lightly cooked foie gras is decorated with wine molecules without losing the delicious original flavor of foie gras, and it is smooth in the mouth. Lobster and cod are particularly delicious. The most important thing is that this restaurant with an unobtrusive appearance has a great location, overlooking the entire Lisbon. The appetizers are very good with wine, and several sauces and several kinds of appetizer bread can be matched at will.

The sauce was surprisingly sweet. The Portuguese green wine was a special treat with the seafood, the service was generous and they would give you some small desserts. There were many tourists here, which was a very nice place.

The grilled prawns were outstanding at this restaurant. The calamari and sardines were also very delicious. Would skip the Portuguese meatballs as they had an odd texture (soft/mushy inside)

The food was delicious from starters to.dessert and.the staff extremely attentive. One member of staff even sang happy birthday. The views are lovely. A very pleasant experience.

Situated in the lower level of a large Princely mansion, the coveted  16 tufted high chairs aroundThe U shaped bar are the setting for the GASTRONOMIC SYMPHONY. Each diner is a member of the audience. The chef conducts his staff, providing the most glorious presentations and delectable offerings. The maestro discusses the presentations . At the same time the sous chefs are putting the finishing touches on the dishes. The offerings are presented and plated in front of the guest, while watching the various presentations around the bar. The atmosphere is open yet intimate. Each reservation is separate while being part of the total experience. The food! It&#39;s a &quot; symphony&quot;Of textures and tastes. The melding of a spice to an herb to a protein. Truly an experience. An OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE.Now, one drawback. The building is historic. As a result there is no elevator. If you are handicapped, not able to walk, then unfortunately you will not be able to experience TWO MONKEYS.

The fore-dinner snacks with wine are very good, and several kinds of sauces can be matched with several kinds of bread before the meal.
